A patchwork memory cushion made from clothing is a beautiful way to preserve treasured garments and turn them into a meaningful keepsake.
Using clothing or fabrics you provide, I carefully create a patchwork design that brings together different pieces of fabric into one special cushion. Each section of fabric holds its own memories, making the finished cushion both unique and deeply personal.
Every patchwork cushion is handmade and thoughtfully designed to make the best use of the garments supplied.
Cushion Details
Sometimes a single garment isn’t enough to hold all the memories you want to preserve. A patchwork cushion allows several pieces of clothing to be combined into one meaningful keepsake.
This can be especially lovely when using items such as:
shirts
jumpers
uniforms
baby clothes
favourite clothing from a loved one
The combination of fabrics creates a cushion that reflects the person and the memories connected to the clothing.
Clothing requirements.
2-3 adult clothes
5-6 children's clothes (more needed is small baby clothes)
Most fabrics work well, however very thick or heavy fabrics are not recommended, as they
can affect the finish of the bear. If you’re unsure whether your items are suitable, I’m always happy to advise before you send anything.
All clothing should be clean and in reasonable condition. Signs of wear are normal and often add to the character of the finished cushion.

Personalisation is available as an optional extra.

£5 per patch
This is entirely optional and can be added if it feels right for you.
Ordering & Payment.
Payment secures a place in my making schedule once your clothing is received
A deposit option is available, with payments made against your memory cushion please contact me to arrange this option.
Once full payment has been completed, you can send your clothing items to me
Turnaround Time.
Approx. 2-4 weeks from receiving your clothing
If you require a memory cushion sooner, priority orders may be available for an additional fee. Please contact me before ordering to discuss availability.
Sending your clothing?
Once your order has been placed and payment made you will receive an email with instruction of where to send your clothing. I strongly recommend all clothing to be sent tracked and insured.
Unused Fabric/Items
If there is any unused clothing or fabric after your cushion has been made, I’m happy to return it with your finished cushion. Please let me know at the time of ordering if you would like unused items returned.
Important Information.
Each memory cushion is handmade, so small variations in size, fabric placement, and stitching are part of the process
Memory cushions are keepsake items and not toys
They are not intended for play and are not suitable for under 14 year olds.

Return & Refund Policy
Returns & refunds
Because memory bears are bespoke items made using your own clothing, refunds are handled as follows:
Once work has started on your memory bear, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
If you wish to cancel your order before sending your items, please get in touch and include your order number. A full refund can be arranged at this stage.
If your items have been received but work has not yet started, a refund can be processed minus a 25% handling fee. This fee covers administration and preparation costs.
Postage costs for returning your items are not included and will need to be covered separately before your items are sent back to you.
If you have any questions about cancellations or refunds before ordering, please don’t hesitate to contact me — I’m always happy to clarify anything in advance.
I take great care to ensure every memory bear is made to a high standard. If, for any reason, your item arrives in an unsatisfactory condition due to workmanship, please get in touch within 14 days of receiving your order so I can review the issue and work with you to put things right.
Shipping Info
Shipping information.
All clothing should be sent to me using a tracked and insured postal service. This helps ensure your items arrive safely and can be tracked during transit.
Once your memory bear is complete, it will be returned to you via Royal Mail Tracked 24 or Tracked 48, depending on the option selected at checkout. You’ll receive tracking details once your order has been dispatched.
